Crunch, crunch

My big thing lately has been walking to and from work. I don't walk all the way to my house and back, as that would be too far, but instead I park in a neighborhood not too far away from the job and go from there. I get in a good 25-30 minute walk this way, listening to my player for the Meganar soundtrack of the day. It's so incredibly lovely right now with the leaves changing and the cool, crisp autumn air. Autumn is my favorite season. But, the real reason I like it so much isn't for the leaves on the trees. Nope. It's for all the piles of colorful leaves on the ground. I love shuffling and crunching through them as I make my way down the neighborhood sidewalks. I'm like a little kid in this way. If you presented me with a huge piles of leaves, I wouldn't think about how best to dispose of them in the yard waste bin. Instead I'd jump on in to play, tossing them up in the air, and stomping through the pile to hear the satisfying crunch of crackly little pieces of earth. This is our secret, though, ok?
