My friend Marcel and I are going to catch a show at the Croc tonight. He's been out of the music scene for a while and has recently expressed an interest in getting back into it. I think he is looking to me for guidance, and all I can say is watch out! I fear I may appear overconfident in my music knowledge, and I've felt a bit on the spot trying to find something for us to see, but whateva. I'm always happy to have a new music buddy.

Shockingly, this will be his first visit to the Croc. The time lapsed since his last show became apparent today when he threatened to shout out "Free Bird!" in between songs, talked about styling his hair in spikes, and sent me a link to a pic of a mesh shirt saying, "These are still cool, right?" Oh my. We're in for it. Actually, I hope he will shout out a well-timed "Free Bird!" because that really makes me giggle. If this goes okay, Audioasis may be in the cards for us, along with Em, this Saturday.
