After a long flight on a plane that smelled like a used wet wipe (due to fact that someone barfed in the aisle near our seats when the plane came into Seattle from Paris, and the staff kept trying to make the residual scent better by spraying Febreze and "Airplane Odor Remover" (who knew?) directly on the carpet, which only made it worse), I made it to the hotel and promptly fell asleep for a good chunk of the afternoon. Lindsay and I ventured out for dinner and a walk tonight, which was really nice. The flight itself wasn't too bad. Air France is pretty roomy, the food is good, and they have the personal movie players (watched Twilight and the start of Slumdog). But, there were bumpy skies from Greenland to Paris, which made it less relaxing. The important part is that we made it in one piece and that chunk of the adventure is over.
Good news for me; messy hair is "in" here. I'm fitting right in, except that everyone else's messy hair is stylish and chic, while mine is just, well, unintentionally messy. Not...quite...the...same.

Heh is right. I, shall we say, adore you, Monice! It's morning here now, and I'm off to have a cafe au lait/luxury beverage.
