It's a little bit early but...Happy Inauguration Day! So exciting! I feel like I did the night before the elections - hopeful and filled with joyful anticipation. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm even going to get up super early (for me), to drag myself into work super early (for me), to catch the speech (I hope). The problem is that I'm awake, Awake, AWAKE right now. I think I'm still all hopped up on the numerous cups of chai I drank while out for lunch today.

Next up for me, in pursuit of my New Year's rezzie to improve my meditation practice, is Kundalini yoga. I'm going to try a class in the next month. The problem is that the studio I want to go to has only one class that works with my schedule, and that's at 8am on Saturday mornings. Gulp. So far, getting up at a reasonable hour on the weekends isn't a resolution I can touch yet. I'm passionately committed to sleeping in. But, a girl does what she has to do, and I'll report back after I go.
