I've been lame about blogging recently, but this has been a week of silly for me. As in, I'm just silly. Perhaps I've gone a little crazy. I'm not sure, but acting like a normal person is beyond me at the moment.

Em and I were chatting yesterday about the coworkers who think we are weird and the actions we can take to perpetuate that belief. Em decided that she is going to bring a different stuffed animal to the office with her every day and have it sit in a chair next to her. She will call it her assistant and ask it various questions, assign it tasks, etc. throughout the day. I came up with bringing Kitty in to work with me. I'll forgo using IM to communicate with peeps and just strap a pad of post-it notes to her back, so she can run around the building delivering and receiving my messages. I'll let her curl up in front of my heater to take breaks in between runs.

Other ideas with Em include signing up as volunteers at the Grand Illusion this year. I think it'd be fun for us to perform our civic duty together by selling movie tickets, offering to taste test people's candy purchases, and wrestling around with movie reels. If only the volunteer coordinator would write back to us. Next, we would like for one of us to get an apartment with an extra room we could use for choreography (literal and regular), lab experiments on Peeps and Stuffed Break-Up Flower, and taxidermy (although I'll have to leave that to Em, as I have no stomach for taxidermy). We also think it would be handy to have clones that we could put to work to earn us more money and take care of household chores. My one concern about this is that we could end up with unruly clones, and I really don't want to have to bail mine out of jail. Finally, the grand plan is to take a High-Five Tour around the world and make a documentary out of it. We'll go around randomly high-fiving people, like the annoying Americans we are, and film the things that happen as a result. High-Five Tour! Are you with me?

I got a photo match fix in with Em, Amy, and Keith at Audioasis this weekend. This time I was disturbed to see that other people are now in to playing the one and only bar machine--challenging word nerd games, no less--so I have to hover around waiting impatiently for my turn. If this continues, I may end up fighting peeps to regain control of the machine. Em takes a more optimistic and peaceful approach, confident that we can convince others to give up their game to play photo match with us instead. We shall see.

My friend, Amy, gave me Boss Lady lotion as part of my Christmas gift this weekend. She told me she thought of me right away when she saw it, because I am bossy. The back of the container reads, "Rope'em in With Softer Skin." My new motto.
