I'm sorry I haven't posted about my trip yet, my friends. I've been fighting a cold and allergies, I think, for the past couple of days, and I had a horrible, rotten day today (more car issues, among other things, if you can believe it). Putting it in perspective, things really aren't that bad. Just a bunch of not so great stuff happened at once, but, using one of my great grandma's favorite phrases, this too shall pass soon. I think I'm also experiencing coming home from vacation letdown. As a result, I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed and weepy, which isn't a good state to describe my happy adventures in Maui. The pics below of my adorable nephew are fun, so I hope you will enjoy those until my mind and health are in a better place.

My friend Amy told my friend Emily that Mercury is in retrograde, and that's not very nice for many of us. That's it. I'm going to blame everything on Mercury. Stupid planet!
