Sometimes I have highly productive days like this past Sunday. I got up at a decent time to meet a friend for breakfast and then kept satisfyingly busy the entire day. I came home to weed and straighten up my flower beds, did a pile of laundry, changed my sheets, vacuumed, ran on my trainer, took a relaxing bubble bath while listening to Ella and reading, cleaned out the freezer, caught up on emails, caught up with peeps on the phone, and watched one of my French lessons. But then, I have other days. I come home from work and take in the pile of clean laundry to fold, the stacks of mail that need sorting, and the sink full of dishes, and I ignore it all. Instead, I crash on the couch for the night to watch highly stimulating TV like The Real Housewives of New York mini-marathon on Bravo. I don't know how it happened, because I hadn't even heard of this show, and it's really silly. Yet, I watched. What can I say? Sometimes I choose Deepak Chopra talking about finding happiness on PBS, or documentaries on Mormons, and other times--thanks to my sisters--I choose Justin Bobby flipping his hair from one side of his head to the other on the Hills.

I'm loving this week so far. Work is entertaining me. I'm having fun catching up with old friends and hanging out with new people. All of these outings include good food, which is a must as far as I'm concerned. I talked to Trav on the phone the other night and he brought up coming to visit me, which was so cute. Also, he likes to tell people that he's "just teasing" them now, because he hears that a lot from Auntie Bacon and seems to have worked out what it means. I'm thinking about going to Minneapolis for a few days in May to visit Chris and see the Swell Season with her. It just feels like there are lots of good things in the works. Yay!
