I went to the caucus today. This was my first time participating in a caucus and I was really interested to see how the process works. While it turns out my time there was mostly a bunch of waiting around, I was happy I went to cast my vote and to see SO MANY other people there talking animatedly about their candidate of choice. The energy was great. My precinct alone more than doubled in participants from four years ago, which totally hit home just how ready people are for a change. It's time!

I'm an Obama supporter. There are a lot of Obama supporters in Seattle, as the results of the caucus show. I think one of the main barriers for him, though, is with the older generation who seems, from what I've heard, very focused on experience and the fact that Hillary has it and he doesn't. Yeah, because experience has worked out so well for us in recent years! Inexperience is actually a good thing to me at this point, so I'm pretty eh about that argument. I think the country could benefit from someone who will look at the same old things from a fresh perspective and hopefully make decisions from a less corrupt political view. Dare to dream.
